Any suggestions as to a set that will fit stock bars? The little man is off the chain with a couple of races under his belt and should put them to good use.

We used the Acerbis plastic guards (I think Minicross Rally?) on a the boy's CRF70F which have since migrated to his KX65. They provide decent protection, have held up very well through some pretty hard crashes and only cost around $50. I thought about getting metal bark busters for his KX but I couldn't see investing $100 when the bike will only last two seasons before it is sold. And with the stock mild steel handlebars I think the metal BB might help the bars bend a little bit easier instead of absorbing some of the impact.

Thanks! I hadn't thought of non-reinforced pieces, but that's a great point. He doesn't need anything as rigid as my G2's.

That's what I did also, the plastic seems to be strong enough for the little bike.

I purchased a set for my son's xr50 and they were supposed to be Mini. They were HUGE on those little bars. I’m not too sure there is all that much out there for the stock 50 bars? Maybe you could get a set and just cut and drill your own mounting holes?

I put a set of Acerbis intended for a 65 on Aiden's stock CRF bars. They looked big but did the job many times. I had to get creative to make them fit the 3/4" CRF bars. I am going to try them on his new 7/8" Pro Tapers tomorrow.

The set on Logan's bike (#522) was hand made by his dad and are now on my daughter Kirsten's CRF.

The plastic ones will twist (spin) when they fall over so I used alum. ones on our TTR50. As far as the smaller dia bar goes I used a piece of copper tubing
cut length ways as a shim for the inner bar 7/8" mounts.
Dennis Kirk has some 7/8" snowmobile bars for $37.99 that look like they would work they are available in 2", 4" & 6" rise, p/n 59-6766.
Good Luck! There were some pretty tricked out CRF50's in our mini H/S races.
