Ok, I've searched and read for about two weeks but I still have questions about getting street tires for my new 2008 650L...

First, I'm looking at either the Avon - AM26 Roadrider Rear Tire
Size - 120/90V-18 or Bridgestone - Battlax BT45V Sport Touring Rear Tire
Size - 130/80V-18 for the rear and the Bridgestone - Battlax BT-45 Sport Touring Front Tire Size - 90/90H-21 for the front. Will these fit the STOCK rims ok?

Second, since the rims require tubes, will running street tires that are tubeless cause any issues with a tube?

I don't do ANY off road riding and I basically just want a more street worthy bike without going through the drama of getting new wheel sets and doing a whole conversion- through reading it sounds like alot of gremlins can pop up during that process.

Anyway, I love the site and would be even more lost than I am without it!

Im running the Avons and love it. Would rather have a 70/30 tire though as my riding style has changed. If you have something like this PM me and Ill trade you.

* I run tubeless tires, and take them everywhere w/o issues, except rampart

Tubeless tires with tubes is not recommended, but it works. They tend to wear the tubes faster, so either replace the tubes every time or take a real good look at them before reusing a tube.

The 90 width in the front should be good, but the 120 and 130 are a bit wide for a 2.15 inch rim. Check the manufacturer sites for the recommended tires for the rims. A 110 might not look as cool, but it will give the best performance and tread life.
