New paragraph in SCORES waiver of liability and indemnity...

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THE 2006-2010 SCORE RULEBOOK AND THAT I UNDERSTAND AND SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL RULES CONTAINED THEREIN. I SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT SCORES INTEREPREATION OF RULES, DECISIONS ENFORCING RULES, INTERPRETATION OF PENALTIES IN CONNECTION WITH
ENFORCEMENT OF RULES, TIMINING OF EVENTS AND DECISIONS AS TO WINNERS AND PLACEMENT POSITIONS SHALL BE FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO
PROTEST OF ANY KIND. NO DECISION OF SCORE WITH RESPECT TO RACE RESULTS MAY BE CHALLENGED BY LITIGATION OR OTHERWIESE. I UNDERSTAND
THAT ANY STATEMENTS MADE BY ME OR ANYONE ACTING ON MY BEHALF WHICH CHALLEGES THE INTEGRITY OF SCORES DECISION WITH RESPECT TO RACE
RESULTS WILL CAUSE IRREPARABLE HARM TO SCORE’S BUSINESS REPUTAION AND SUBJECT ME TO DAMAGES UNDER APPLICALBE LAW. I ALSO CERTIFY THAT
I HAVE READ AND WILL COMPLY WITH ALL SUPPLEMENTAL OR AMENDED RULES SPECIFICALLY PUBLISHED FOR THIS EVENT IN THE RACE BULLETINS AND ON
THE SCORE WEBSITE.

The spelling errors give it a certain charm. I'm no lawyer but, is this for real?

As I understand it the ira tracker thing will be a self contained unit with no need for a mounting "kit". No electrical hook up no nothing except $150 rental? Do I have this right?

there will be a live tracker option as well. it should use the same mount. it will probably be around $250 for 2 minute updates.

Good Draws- Robby, and both DP racing bikes. 4X 7X -- Thissen guy on 2x--is that the Blais KTM?

Bad draws- Kendall, Colton, Me --

Before you guys start with the 15x hoopla---, I'm planning on moving to class 30. I was hoping to draw top 5 in class 22, didn't happen, I'm buried behind all the fast guys anyway, might as well try for a paycheck.

Yee-haw. This is gonna be the best SCORE race in 20 years.

Just an FYI Ill be in the SF area if any bikers or racers need any help. I know my way around a bike and can change tires, chains, filters, oil, etc. If anyone needs anything brought down to that area I have an empty truck bed.

Ron, just curious but wouldn't that put you in the dust of way more riders, reducing your chance at the Ironman? Not to mention closer to the TTs in the worst case.
Of course you could be blowin' smoke too? Hmmmm. In any case; Good Luck.

Just hoping to finish:lol:

Ron are you going to run the $150 tracker thing or the $300 deluxe version? If I go with the $300 version, witch I probably won't, do I still need the $150 box? Also will score post times through the checks like they did in the 07 500 on the net? Can anyone make a case why I should spend the extra $150??

If you really want your loved ones back home to worry, then spend the extra $. That way, when the fricken internet says you are not moving at rm 250, everyone can assume you have had a really bad crash. In reality, you're at race mile 500 doing 75mph.

Sounds like a spot tracker, along with the IRC recorder is the way to go.

Being old school (and going broke), I will go with the bare minimum. Maybe someone will loan me a spot for the race.

This is why I come to this web site. The only reason I was considering the $300 tracker was to keep my Dad from worrying back here in Bama land. Just never occured to me it would have the opposite effect.

That seals the deal, cheapee for me. Anyone want to buy my mounting kit? No reasonable offer refused. I hope they don't bump my post for that last comment. It's not really an offer to sell. I will give it away to anyone that will contribute to my Baja effort. :ride:

Gary
Holliday rooooooooad (thats my tag line Ron) But, I will let you use it if you show me the secret baja handshake or the fast way through the san felipe loop:smirk:

The fastest way through the San Felipe loop huh? Easy...

When you get to check 2 make a right turn and continue following the course. Make sure you don't make a left turn and follow the course that way. If you are confused at these directions then look at the course map. It will clear everything up for ya. Of course I don't think Score will like that fast way through the San Felipe loop though.

Question...So I go straight, not take the left? Is that about the time I should disconect the tracker thing?
