"Specified motorized vehicle" means dirt bikes, monster trucks, hovercraft, swamp buggies, track buggies or any other similar off-road vehicle propelled by any form of engine or motor. However, the term "specified motorized vehicle" shall not include a farm tractor, and implement of husbandry, a moped bicycle, emergency vehicle or vehicle used for a bona fide agricultural purpose.

That really sucks. I just got a $170 ticket from a DNR prick 2 weeks ago for riding on snowmobile trails that didnt have any no orv signs. He told us to get back on the side of the road because that was the nearest legal place to ride. There are too many stupid laws in this country.

Well over 100 citizens showed up at the meeting this morning, 65 signed up to speak.

I wish I could remember his name, but a past president of Brevard airboat association presented an eloquent, concise, factual and well thought out argument against the proposed ordinance.

I followed by 4 or 5 speakers and reinforced what he had said, I then noted that the Sheriffs office is tasked with enforcing Laws and should not be drafting them.

I went on to say that the existing wording should be shelved, and the commission should consider an OHV advisory council to work on a mutually dis-agreeable agreement.

After much discussion, most of it centering around the 5a area in northern Brevard, the Board agreed to kill the existing ordinance.

Trudy Infantani (sp) was appointed as the OHV task force CZAR. I hope to be appointed as a YZar

Note: In case you were unaware, San Bernardino County is mostly desert and is the largest County in the U.S. OHVing is a very big deal here.

Hello, well if you guys look up a person named Richard I Mack, read his book about the county Sheriff you will read the key to stopping this whole mess. Mack is the person who basically stopped the Brady Bill dead in it's tracks. He will also show you how to take back the Sheriffs office which is an ELECTED position in the Exective Brach of our government. The Sheriff has power over ALL other government positions or federal agencys in your county, they can even arrest the IRS if they violate your Constitutional Rights in your county. Check it out and pass the word!

I'm afraid we really are losing our freedoms and it is going to get worse! It's gotten where you can't just disagree with someone without being a racist, nazi or radical! If we don't stand together it's over! We need to vote "NONE OF THE ABOVE" come next November!
