I heard SCORE will only allow two weeks for pre-running, meaning pre-running would open the weekend of Nov 7th.

Not sure if this was publicly announced already, but was curious if anyone else has heard the same.

From SCORE's website,

The Baja 1000 drawing will be held on Saturday, October 10.
To be included in the drawing, the entry form MUST be at SCORE by NOON on Wednesday, October 7.

Pre-Run

The race course will be marked and open for prerunning on Friday, November 6.

I've simply lost faith in Score's ability to keep their website up to date and reasonably well organized.

There you have it though... straight from the horsy's mouth. Thanks!

Wellllll.....Baja is pretty wide open and for the most part you can run the sections without upsetting anyone, in fact the locals will be stoked you are there to spend money.

There will be no markings but as we get closer those that know the course will divulge here on the web and SCORE will put the map out sometime in mid Oct I would guess.

Some of you may frown on this but its the facts and it is not illegal to do.

I would guess on many of my rides through the year we see a good part of the course anyway.

Top end was still off actually, so it wasn't quite complete. Still looked better than that 1x clunker with the sissy pegs sitting near it :smirk:

I'll plan to go down when you get out West.

Viva Baja Mil!

Pretty cheeky, raggin' on the 1X bike while yours is disassembled and still waiting to be put back together by the numero uno team, at the 1x family shop!

I'm pretty confident our bike was done and gone before my flippant post. Otherwise, I wouldn't blame them for throwing a bit of sand in the top end :)

Truthfully speaking, the green 1x was one sexy b*tch.

Justin, Pete dropped off the bikes today, we spent some time putting some bolt-ons (noooo, motorcycle parts type) on the new prerunner and they are now spending the night here in San Flip in my garagemahal.
