Will plastics from another model fit?

Will any of the plastics from the other WRs or YZs fit my WR400 (1998)?

Yz will fit if you change the gas tank and seat, that's what I have on my wr400

yeah, but that would be too much money wasted for almost nothing. my WR has stock seat and gas tank, and i am not willing to change them if they are ok, i'd rather spend that money (200$ or more) to get some engine works.

so...no YZ plastics fit the WR400 without changing other body parts?

Radiator shrouds appear to be around $45 a set.

All the WR 400's should be the same and possibly the WR 426 up to 03

I know the WR400s are the same, my question was if any of the YZ plastics (like fenders, side panels, etc.) fit the WR...

YZ 98-02 rear fender should fit

Radiator shrouds for '98-'99 YZ400s and '99-'00 WR400s will fit without any issues. '00-'02 YZ426 and '01-'02 WR426 ones will fit but the mount on the radiator is a different angle so requires a bit of work, but it can be done.

Side covers for '98-'02 WR400/426 will fit without modification, '98-'02 YZ400/426 will fit, but the left one needs trimming (just on the inside, it doesn't affect the look of it) to accommodate the overflow bottle.

Rear fenders from '98-'02 YZ400/426s will fit, don't know about later models.

Front fenders from any YZF or WR would fit I would think.
