Thought you might like a sneak peek of the 600x race bike, with a fitting tribute to Gene Dempsey.

The 600x team is made up of:
Donald Lewis
Gene Dempsey (R.I.P.)
Sam Dempsey
Chuck Dempsey
Bill Rogers
Mike Harper
Bob Gates
Chuck Koistra

I also learned of what looks to be very cool DVDs named "Moto Geezers" and the retitled "Redefine What's Possible" which are available on Amazon.com. I'm told it will include a tribute to Gene.

Some of the 600x guys at the '09 Baja 500. If you ever want to understand the spirit of Baja, hang out with these guys for a day:

They will definitely bring it home. Years of experience has taught them how to make it to the end. It has been a pleasure and always an interesting time hanging with those old dudes. :worthy:

They are such a tight knit group with an incredible attitude and drive for Baja racing, more than most. These geezers are the roots of racing Baja. I wish Bishop would get back on a bike.

Good to see pictures of Mike Harper and Bob Bitchen these days. Bob looks like he went on a diet in this photo. Mike looks like he always does, rugged and ready for another Baja event Ironman!

Whats up with Ron Bishop not racing Baja any longer. After that long streak of racing every Baja 1000?
