Anyone here from the Jacksonville / Orange Park area? I see the rare SM, but the only other S model is the one I talked a co worker into. I'm riding alone in a sea of harley's, and rockets!

I'm in Jax. It's finally getting cool enough to go out to Osceola! Gotta watch out for those pesky hunters, though. With those guns...

Im in Lakeland, and have only seen one SM model other than my own on the road. It was a white one. Yep, I know how you feel also.

Wow, I wasn't imageing things was I? Over 1 million people in Jax and surrounding areas, and almost no one from the area on the forum! This has to be about as bad as it gets in the US? No wonder I never see any. Is it because this area sucks for dirtbikes I guess? I don't care, I don't want to buy a bike that requires a costume. Still having riding buddies would have been cool.

You make it to Orlando or Biketoberfest, we should meet up.

Motards need to represent at Biketoberfest. Show the corporate bikers and thier overweight two wheeled couches how to ride a real motorcycle.

Coupenut, I have even emailed the big four about expanding their motard version of motorcycles. Not one had ever responded.

I'm in Palm Bay, South of Melbourne. I don't see many DRZ's around here either. Someone should plan a Florida DRZ get together this fall or winter.

You'all need to get organized down there. Start a new Flo'ridas site or organize a ride in the Regional Discussion thread.

You will never see very many DS bikes of any kind on the road compared to pigs and rockets. Why do you think they don't upgrade the DRZ to a FI, 6 spd, 450 monster? Because they (and all the others) don't sell very many DS bikes compared to the others.

They're out there.

MwGator, I sent you a message, and dont know if I did it correctly. Anyhow, yeah man, that would be great to meet up. I will be stopping at Lakeland Fun-bike Center on Memorial at high-noon, if you want to meet. Yeah, its closed today, but I will be there at 12 noon sharp. I had no idea there was anyone else in this area with an sm.

Alright boys, at SMJ(SUPERMOTOJUNKIEDOTCOM) is a thead called local ride alert. The subthread is (TAMPA RIDE ALERT). I hooked up with some guys on there a few months back and went for a ride in Lake County. It was awesome, good bunch of guys. They showed up from Brooksville, Lakeland, Mount Dora (which is where we met), Orlando, and a few other places I don't remember. There were eight of us, but we expected twelve. Speedpunk is on SMJ and TT. I spoke to him earlier on TT about his Corbin. I didn't even realize it was the same guy.:bonk: Anyway, I went to bike week with a bunch of metric cruisers and some harleys and it was fun but no twisties in thier ride.:foul: They do scape thier pegs (floorboards on a regular basis:moon: ) with 15 degrees lean angle. Enough ranting. Brian Bosch it the moderator at SMJ along with TT (I believe) so I don't think there is a problem talking about it here, but SMJ is the forum for this. SEE YOU THERE. Hope to ride or set one up soon.
