Rmz fork swap to DRZ

Has anyone tried a fork swap from an RMZ 450 (2007) to a DRZ 400 (2000)? I've found an RMZ locally that's being parted out....

If you use the whole front end from the RMZ, it will bolt right on. The big problem is you won't have steering stops.

The showa units on the ZEd are good units, they just need to be sprung for your weight. Unless you are in the points race for the AMA supermoto title, its a waste of money.
