Multiple opportunities here in Alaska to purchase the white 09 YZ 450 for $5200. Seems to me to be the best deal in dirtbike history. Can the 2010 be $3000 nicer than the 09????? I'm thinking not.

Anyone have a reason for me not to buy an 09 for off-road riding at these prices??

Unless someone chimes in with something I haven't thought of, I'm buying one tomorrow. Crazy, because I love the 08YZ250 two stroke I'm presently riding.
I just can't bring myself to pass up this deal.
When I think of how much bike I'm getting for $5K, it's almost ridiculous. That, and at that price, I believe it will always be worth what I owe on it.

Agree, or no????

Thanks, as always, for the input.

Get it! I just turned down my 2010 which arrived today and will be picking up my new white 09 YZ450f Thursday. $5350 including tax out the door. I will have powerbowl, dr d pipe and a bunch of GYTR goodies. Stoll will be $2500 less than the dealer wanted to charge me for the 2010. I'll get the 2011. Will fix the abruptness of the efi at first crack.

Local Dealer near me had the 09 450's for 4040 OTD, I just bought a 09 250F for 3825 OTD 2 weeks ago. I just wish I had the money to walk out with a 250F and 450!

Which dealer had it for 4040? Does he have another one?

Dexter's Yamaha, Adrian MI. I drove up and took a 450 from them, love my new $4400 bike. They had to charge shipping to ensure the bikes made it in time for Yamahas discount. I should have bought two just to sell one.

I have a 2007 YZ450F and I love it. A buddy of mine had a 07 YZ450F and we were about the same speed. He sold it and got a 2008 CR450F and I smoke him now.
