I have a chance to trade my '94 XRL with 6,000 miles for a Triumph Tiger with 60,000 miles. What do you think? Any Tiger owners out there?

Check www.tigertriple.com for info on the tiger.

60k is a few miles, if it has good maintenance records, I would not be concerned. I just turned 46k on my 01 tiger. Did 10k on this years summer adventure with no problems.

What I like about the tiger is the long distance capability and still be able to get off road.

Near Rocky Mountain National Park

The Tiger is a '95 with 60T miles. My '94 XRL has only 5,600 miles. The Tiger is completely stock except for a corbin seat it also appears well maintained. My only concerns are the maintenance issues concerned with Triumphs, such as replacing the whole airbox when replacing the air filter, removing tons of parts for minor maintenance items, etc... Don't worry i am not abandoning TT, I just need a touring bike to add to the stable. I still have my other well farkled '94 XRL and the XR4 for the trails. Thanks!

Saw the Tiger today and was impressed. From what i've read and been told, it requires a wrencher to maintain it. The Tiger that i test drove had 3 Givi trunk bags, Hagon shock and look very pristine for 60,000 miles. I noticed though that the engine seems to make a lot of racket when running. The owner tells me it's normal Triumph noise. Still contemplating on trading in my '93 XRL with only 5,600 miles.

Dang Kenzo! Yep that's the one i'm talking about. Not bad lookin considering she has 60,000 on the 3 cylinder motor. Any British bike mechanic near Houston?

British Cycles/BMW off I45 (near Hobby Airport) exit Airport Blvd/College and take College Blvd east towards Pasa-getdown-dena...
