What year is that 380?. A clean machine for sure. I heard they were hard to jet in stock form, but som sort of head mod made them better. Give us a ride report. I like it:thumbsup:

It's a 1999 with stock jetting which is definitely way wrong. It loads up and then cleans out and his this monster hit that brings up the front end in the first 3 gears with 15/42 gearing.

I did a bunch of research before I bought it and came up with the same conclusion but at least I have a good starting point thanks to a few 2 year long posts about the jetting.

I also heard that about 2 stroke but I'm not sure how it translate to the big bores like the 380 and 500. I guess I'll find out here after I put some miles on her.

The tires are this model:

The last owner put them on about 3 weeks ago so they are still pretty fresh. I haven't had it on a dirt road yet but they ride fine for "normal" street riding.

Fug yeah, rode a 550 out to 600ish with twin plugs and worked off it's head after it raced our big Dez race here in Oz and in my opinion standard was much more rideable and much less scary but still scary.
