Outter tube add 365mm, then add 5mm in increment to adjust plushness desired. Oil height in outer tube helps with bottoming and a bit of plushness. 365mm works well for me but I'm 195lbs. If you are lighter start at 360mm. It's amazing how much 5mm of oil effects the ride.

True. I had desert valving and started w/ 400cc's. Ended up at 390 and loved it.

It's amazing how much 5mm of oil effects the ride.

390 worked best for me on the track. 360 seems good for the desert.

thanks for the input guys :busted:

filled both forks up with 360cc of oil. gonna see how that goes tomorrow when i go riding.
