Excel Notako rims

Anyone seen these yet? http://www.notako.com/index.html

They are new from excel and are a low cost replacement rim, but they say they are not as strong as their normal rims. I wonder if these are the same as the excel rims that come stock on many bikes. I did notice that in their FAQ section they say that these rims should never be raced on :busted:

theyre the same price as dna, moose etc.

Hmm

They seem good for the price. I bet their saying you shouldn't race on them because they want you to spend more money on their more expensive rims.

Wouldn't surprise me. As KJ said maybe they're the "fake" Excels that come on stock bikes. They hold up fine if that's the case.
