Just a quick one. Ordered a 150/60/17 Distanzias after researching on here, it turns up and has Tubeless on the side, is this correct? Are all Distanzias tubeless?

Cheers

Mike

Your good man, enjoy them! You still have to run a tube.

yes mate I gathered that, just wanted to check that it was right that is was a tubeless tyre. Can't believe how much tread they have on the for a road tyre. Should last a lot longer than the Dunslop!

They will work just fine with a tube Or with out, you can re use your old one if your carefully and don't tear or pinch it while removing your tyre

Cool, Cheers guys. Just need to get it mounted and then enjoy! BTW I am running the stock front tyre, can't see the point in wasting a tyre!

Personally I would take the stock 208 off. It is a very different tire from the Avon and they provide no warning before the traction disappears. Front tires are cheap...replace it before you have to give up the bike while you heal or replace other parts due to a crash.

I'm not to bothered, the stock front tyre seems to let go with out any warning so I am pretty used to it. Only really use the bike for commuting so don't push it that hard, Ive got a GSXR 750 for that!

Man you got that backwards! The SM is much more fun to push hard than a sport bike!

The rear is shagged, has been for a while, but now winter is on the horizon I thought better to change it. Can't get over how much tread these distansias have.

That won't last long if you ride it:ride:

I fitted Distanzias for my 58 plate SM (just before i got knocked off it). Was a bit worried that they would lack grip because of the amount of tread you talk about. Need not have worried, seem to have plenty of grip wet and dry
