the damage done was my speedo wasnt reading any more.... this was my first time motocrossing ever i think i need to upgrade the suspension as i was bottoming out on the jobs also it isnt geared right at the moment has the standard sm rear gearing so need to buy a larger chain maybe and bigger sprocket. can anyone point me in the direction for the cheapest way to beef up suspension i weigh about 85ish kg with kit on i think currently uploading a few pics and a video will post them when they are up hope this is ok!

cheers

Some new springs and a little valving work and you won't bottom on those jumps. Where to have it done in Scotland I have no idea.

Wow... your buddy had awesome timing to catch the bike right above the ground like that. So, what kind of plane was carrying you before you dropped? Last I heard, DR-Zs can't jump! :p

Looks like a lot of fun, buddy!

was really good fun, need to sort out suspension though... springs and recommendations? hard what lbs, progressive? valving hmmm.. not sure who i could get to do that!

Check your speedo cable at the back of the cluster where it plugs in, with all your hard jumps, etc. it probably just unhooked, its happened to me twice also when I took the SM offroad it dirt trim and was hard on the suspension.

DRZ's love to fly, but hate to land! Looks like a lot of fun tho. I wouldn't mind running a few laps on that. Always nice to see a muddy SM!

Suspension work is usually worth it. I only replaced the springs on my bike and it made a big difference.

Tell them you want to set it up for Supermoto, explain what you want, it won't bugger it up for road use. You're after the best compromise possible.

If you can only do one at a time, get the shock done first.
