Im running 756s, Tapers with a applied rubber

Coolhand, how do you like this compared to your 400? 95-100mm sag is right on. 49 tooth works for most of the tracks you & I ride on. The tighter tracks like "the ridge" a 50 tooth would be better, but you won't be unhappy with either. What is your weight? If over 160lb you will notice harshness in the forks as the oil heats up. I went to .47springs in the forks w/100-95mm oil height. What happened to the Xtrack??????

GA426:

I have yet to "Wring" out the 26, I will let
you know how it goes. Im 185 naked with a
Med-Rex in my hand. I have MX-Tech fork
and shock mods on the 400 so I may switch
them out. 49? hmmmm...I'll try it.
The bike came with a FMF CDI box with a
bar mounted switch. Going to try that out.
X-track is done due to some crazed horse

LOL That's hilarious, sorry to hear bout the track.

On my 01 426 I have done the following with good results:

1) Rubber mounted Tag Bars
2) 50 tooth rear sprocket
3) I set my sag at 4 in.
4) Fork oil height 110mm

So did you buy the bike used, what is up with the switch?

G-Man,

I got the bike with maybe 30 minn on it.
It came with a HYD clutch and two sets
of 756s, new-in the bag set of 100% tank
stickers, Tag bars and clamps and some
carbon fiber stuff. Will not tell you how
much because it would make you sick....
*less than $4500--------

Why did I switch? well I have loved the 400
but the engine response of the 01 is sweet.
And I was going to buy a 02 but with BNG
and no big changes why?

Hold it wide..
