Bob your head. Close your eyes and roll with the music. Let yourself fly away - then WHOAAHH! The bass line drops into a manic frenzy, the guitars screech a sickening howl, and the drums beat down the gates of hell. You can't be stopped! You're a madman; you're running up the steps with Rocky, you're sacking the quarterback with Rudy, or you're blitzing JS7 through the whoops. Music is no doubt the cornerstone of a great workout, and while not every song will lift you off the ground, those special few can make you fly. Now, Fraser Quelch, creator of the TRX suspension training system, has come up with a list of 10 training songs guaranteed to keep you pushing hard until that last bead of sweat hits the floor. Set to a video that includes a snippet of each song, Fraser comments on what the song means to him and why it made his list. This list is sure to get the blood flowing, and the head bobbing. Just make sure your alone...Nobody wants to be the guy dancing in his cubicle.
Music is the kind of thing that can take your training to an entirely new level. There's something to be said for the song that lifts your energy, hardens your will and motivates you to dig down that little bit deeper!
While I can't promise that the following selection will appeal to every musical taste, every one of these songs takes my own training to an entirely new level and if truth be told, makes me drive faster :-)
In the video below I've tried to give you a little snippet of the song with a brief description as to why I like to train to it and attempt to capture what it is that does it for me about each one.

Part 1
This list was actually a lot harder to pare down than I thought it would be. As a result I'll post 3 lists of ten over the next few weeks. The songs are in no particular order but I will guarantee if we ever workout together and any combination of these is featured in your playlist - you'll see my energy peak!
I hope you find something here that gets your own training juices flowing.
I created an iMix for easy access to Fraser's list. I added a few of my favorites to the end....what workout is complete without Rockstar! - Virtual Trainer
