I just tore my bike apart a little more tonight thanks to some help from members here. I found I have a SEM ignition system which doesnt seem all that positive. I dont have alot of money but would love to actually ride the bike so I was wondering if someone has the specs to rewind the stator. Right now its reading
1150 between black and red
32 between black and green

From everything I have been able to find I am pretty far out of spec. Any help is appreciated or if anyone has some of the older SEM parts that are still functional sitting around let me know.

Thanks all for any help,
Josh

Hi josh,
I'm assuming you have a mid 90's left kick husky..??

most folks posting on the Husky forum here are new to husky and only know of the 2004 models and on..,

the SEM ignitions were used on the husabergs until a much later date,
early bergs and huskys were "cousins" , being developed by the same team of engineers.
try a new search here stating your bikes model and year, then also ask at the Husaberg part of TT,
the serial number on the parts will help a LOT,
good luck,
Charlie

Thanks for the reply. I am seeing its not very likely to happen but I had to try so I dont have a 260lb paperweight in the garage. For anyone wondering its a 1994 WXE 610, stator is a SEM type K followed by 10 but I am not sure if thats relevant. It seems to be a molded stator thats all epoxy but I havent torn into it yet. I am finding more info and think I might be able to use the stator off of an LC4 KTM but I am still researching that. Seems like the support for the older bikes is a little more difficult to come by. I havent had much good seat time on the bike but I have loved every minute it was running well. Thanks again

Snaps.. if you have not already done so you may also try the folks over at Cafe Husky (http://www.cafehusky.com) a try. There is a section dedicated to the Left Kickers and there seems to be a wealth of Husky specific knowledge.

Hope this helps.
