Hi all! The subject will make it evident that I'm a newbie.

Like most of people, I'm reading to see what the best mods for my 08 SM 610 are.

I read a lot about how an after market exhaust and JD Jetting has woken bikes up.

Since mine is Fuel Injected, I figure, there is no jetting right? If i can't do such a mod, what is the alternative for us FI owners? Is the FI SM as good as it gets as far as it goes?

I got the bike with a Ferraci power up kit, so it has the O2 sensore removed and the resistor in place.

But wonder if there is anything I need to do about the fuel injection. Can it be as good as Jetted Bikes? Is it already? I'm not complaining about my bike, but wonder if I'm missing something.

What I don't have is an after market exhaust... i'm thinking about buying a leo vince slip on.

Also... Should I 'gut' the stock header? Leave it alone?

Thanks to all!

Typical option for FI bikes is a power commander or some other computer piggyback system. You can modify your fuel and spark maps. I don't know if they make one for Husky or not.

Ferracci knows their stuff, so maybe talk to someone there about it.

An option would be a fuel pressure regulator that is adjustable. If anyone knows for such I want in

George from uptite cleared my questions about this as well... Pretty much the power up kit (O2 sensor plug and the resistor to switch the computer to a richer mix) is all that's needed as far as the fuel goes...

An after market exhaust does the other part.

I know that a power commander is also made for the bike, that would be an add on to run perfect all the time, I guess.

I still want to find out if I should remove the guts from the stock pipes or not.

Thanks to all!

Just get the Up-tite slip on from George. I have the same bike and it is a great improvement. The stock header is fine no need to upgrade that.

I ended up ordering the Leo Vince one because of price, I ended up paying just 307.00... I had to buy other stuff and the extra 100 helped much...

I still thank George a lot for his advise.

I also thank all that helped here as much!
