Ive had my bike now for a week and love it but am still trying to set it up well for me.
Has anyone tried taller handlebars/spacers on these things?I cannot quite put my finger on it but its not handling as well as i would like, its taking a lot to muscle around,im a big bloke at 6 foot and 105 kg.I ride intermediate to expert pace.
Im coming from an rmz that had high high bend bars(cause it was so cramped).
This thing is quick but it shouldnt feel like it wants to rip itself out from under me,,
Or should it??
Any input much appreciated
Ive dont the standard sag height adjustments etc.

The TXC510 should have a bar riser spacer on it already. What also will work is to rotate the bar riser itself 180 degress so that it moves the bar forward and gives you a little more leverage. At that point you could raise it up another 10-30mm easily with more spacing material and a longer riser bolt to hold the risers to the triple tree.

But no matter what you do,..........the TXC510 will try to leave you behind when you twist the throttle as it's a beast! :worthy:

It's a beast!

I did what Bobby suggested...flipped the bar clamps forward and moved my bars in a more upward and forward position. I'm considering a taller bar or risers. I have found that these Huskies like to be ridden aggressively forward and standing really helps get my head and body forward over the front wheel for much better handling and tames/controls that power a little bit.

Yes i have moved the bars forward, the idea being to get up and over the bike but i havent tried turning the spacer,i agree that standing is the only way to ride a bike quickly across country, thanks guys,im working on it today.
