After having more fun than someone should be allowed to riding at the fast, but very muddy Hancock dual sport two weekends ago, I went out to Rock Run with my wife and another family for some trail riding this past weekend. When I came back to the camper the first day there, my friend noticed both of my 310's fork seals were blown. The next day, my clutch master was leaking at the plunger. I know that the zoke 50's are sensitive to blowing fork seals, but I guess I learned a lesson how careful you have to be washing these bikes and getting any mud out of the seal. Anyone had a problem with the magura plunger leaking with less than 20 hours on the bike? Any tips for longevity would be most appreciated.

The seals may just have some dirt in them- pull the dust seals down, clean them and then run a credit card inside the seal to remove dirt. Don't be afraid to let'em weep a little. I use WD40 to lube and clean when I do it.
I haven't had a clutch seal problem since i bought my '04.
Hancock was great but that wasn't very muddy-Ive seen rivers running down the hills before and mud so deep you couldn't walk.

Hi Spinkta Boy - what ended up being the problem with your leaky plunger? After riding yesterday while loading up the bike I noticed fluid dripping out of the plunger and running down the lever. Clutch still works at this point. Haven't had time to clean it and do a thorough inpsection yet but I am just wondering if it needs new seals or just a good cleaning? My bike is a 09 TE310. Thanks.

Hmm, I had my plunger leak after whacking a tree so friggin hard I nearly broke my hand. It leaks a bit ever since, haven't had too fill it yet though. I try to keep it clean and know it will need a fill/flush soon.....
How to replace the seal would be interesting to know.
