Will an 09 yz250f rear wheel and rear axle fit on an 08 yz450f. I know the 09 250f has a bigger axle but if you use it in conjuction with the 09 wheel, will it fit the 08 yz450f?

Not unless you can find a way to make the bigger axle fit into the swing arm.

You don't want a 125/250f rear wheel anyways they are narrower.

the plan was to buy a 250f as a work out bike that I would ride 3-5 days during the week. And ride the 450f on the weekend. And maybe the other way around here and there. I'm trying to build up my endurance on the 450f, but it just keeps kicking my @ss. So I was going to buy an 08 250f so I could swap the wheels out with my 450f. That way I could have a nice set ready for nice prepped tracks, and a set that I could use at our local ungroomed, hardpack desert track. Saves money in the long run on tires. But my dealer threw a wrench in the plan when he offered me a good deal on a white 09 250f. Thanks for the input guys. I think I should save the money for maintance and upkeep of the 450f and just get off my @ss and get into shape.

You should very easly find new bearings and seals from a industrial bearing supplier. All measurements are in mm ID,OD, Thickness

How will that help? He wants to switch the wheels back and forth between the two bikes, not convert an '09 wheel to fit an '08.

All the guys I know ride the 450 to train for riding the 250f, if the 450 is kicking your butt then you might wanna think about doing some weight training. Hope this helps.
