I have a 01 yz426 motor and a yz400 crank. The 426 crank came apart and I have the parts except for the crank halves, They were damaged when the bearing gave out. So looking at part numbers it appears the only diffrence between the 2 is the top of the rod for the piston wrist pin to go threw. Same stroke and all other numbers match except the halves have a diffrent part number for some reason. Does anybody know if this will work? yz400 crank with a 426 rod and bearings into a 426 bottom end?
