Tire size

Has anyone has put a 130/90/18 on their WR and had any problems? I can get a great deal on one, but not sure if I should?

I run a 140/80/18 with no problems....The 130/90/18 is a little taller which won't hurt anything...It is still shorter than the 100/110/18 that comes stock on the bike.

(width) x (sidewall height) x (Circumference)

130 90 18

Sweet, Your bike will pull a 130 very nicely... I did have a 140 on mine once and I thought it was too sluggish and it took too long for the motor to get up to speed. What tire is it that you can get? Just curious..dl

the stock size is 110/100/18. i tried a 120/100 and hated it. the tire wouild not spin some times and it bogged the motor to lower rpm's. i put the 110 back on and loved it.

I am currently running a 130 90 18. I have no problems; my bike has plenty of power. I ride in allot of sand and soft material. The extra width really helps to keep the bike on top. ?

The sidewall height is not given in mm, but in % of the tire width.

So:

130/90/18 height 117mm

140/80/18 height 112mm

110/100/18 height 100mm

This is all theoretically, and different manufacturers measures the width differently.

Nope...It would have the width of 110mm and the sidewall height of 100mm.

wrong, sidewall height would be %100 of the tread width. that would make it a 110mm sidewall.
