If they said "We will agree to this, if you agree to that.. sure we'll stay out of that environmentally sensitive area, but guarantee us this area..." and so on they might have made some headway.

Although I have nothing against the tea party movement, and agree the current government is out of control, that kind of rhetoric had no business being brought up with OHV rights. I disagree with extreme gun control laws and environmentalism myself, but now those guys sound like gun wielding, beer swilling whackos on ATV's. Anybody that was sitting on the fence on the issue is probably now thinking "Wow, I don't want those guys up in the hills behind my house."

Rather than BITCH about the comments made write one yourself... I did, be well informed and catch them off balance. Edward Abby's characture HAYDUKE drove EVERYWHERE in a JEEP to do his mischif that throws allot of the tree huggers for a loop. Point out ALL the contributions made by the OHV community, jobs, family activity, coservation ect. JUST sayin' we need to take the fight to them and use their "facts" against them. This is WAR!
