Gotta be honest, I wasn't impressed with Moto X Best Trick this year. Nobody really landed anything new (gotta give Pastrana Pages and Rosen credit for trying), and Loza won with the exact same trick he won with last year. I gotta agree with Deegan and those guys, Bilko should've won. As for Scott Murray, seriously dude, the double backflip's been done already by much better riders, try something else or save yourself the disappointment and sit it out.

With all the supposedly new tricks coming out, I was expecting something special, and I really didn't see it. :banghead:

I was really hoping TP would win but, oh well. Bilko should have won. Loza didn't deserve the win, honestly, his trick was very disappointing.

Well it's just my opinion so it doesn't mean anything but I would say Loza deserved the gold. I think his trick was more technical because no one is even attempting to learn anything like it and even tho it's been done before it's a risky trick. Don't get me wrong I was pulling for 199 dang it

Thing is, like the commentators said, the judges are looking for innovation. Loza's trick was innovative last year. Bilko's wasn't anything mind-blowing, but at least he did something that nobody else did last year. It just feels wrong, seeing the exact same trick win gold two years in a row. Potter couldn't do it with the KOD flip, so seeing Loza do it just makes it feel kind of empty I guess.

I really wanted to see the bike flip or corkscrew 720. Giant disappointment. This is maybe the worst year of best trick ever.

I'm not going to say it was the worst ever, but I'm sure it ranks.

Compared to the last three years, this year absolutely blew though.

I mean, nobody landed anything "innovative" which, to me, is the reason FMX is cool. I can go youtube Loza doing the same crap last year. The back flip cliffhanger has been done before, and a no hander lander is a really lame way to spruce it up if you ask me. I was really bummed TP didn't really even come close to the corkscrew 720. Maybe next year?

i was pissed off that loza didn't go for the bike flip, and a little upset that travis didnt go a second time. I was very disappointed with this years best trick.

yeah I think they missed with Loza it was a good trick but I think when he watched bilko's he knew it was better than his and to do the same trick again---lame. TP's effort was the gold, watching the replay it was ridiculous like going for foam pit but....ouchhhhhh. the others take a lesson from the master even if it hurts. I wonder how the steel rods felt on that hit:worthy:

yeah I can see where TP is coming from though not going a second time....say what you want but falling from 25-30 feet and bouncin off the ground would kinda almost keep me from going a second time, seeing how long he was on the ground for.... he does it all the time, he knows his limits....wanna keep him around for years to come or see him bounce off the ground every jump, until hes done for good?

i hear you, it was big time disappointing, scott murray is guna get himself severly hurt or killed one of these times and anyway wats the reward he wont win a gold with it with innovaters like tp, loza, rosen, & pages. I agree bilko should have won.

I think he just got on the big stage and got scared.

Would've been nice to see him go for it. The commentators were talking about how he had a great new trick, and they were excited to see it, and then... two dead sailors.
