Why not a new forum for the WR250R/X?

I'm considering another Dual Sport - for the wife this time - and am looking at the CRF230L, XT250 and WR250R. I hit this forum to see if I could find some comparisons and contrasts between the two yammies.

It's apparent this forum has lots of traffic in the WR250R/X, and moderate traffic for the remaining models.

I enjoyed browsing the mongo thread on the newer XT250 initially, but lost interest after a few pages when so much was devoted to generic topics like which GPS, etc. It's similar to searching for jetting choices in the Master 3x3 thread over in the DRZ400 forum. Separating the wheat from the chaff is neigh impossible.

Why hasn't this forum been split into two dedicated forums? Obviously there is interest.

Thanks,
Greg

Thank you for the link! My unstated hope was to increase the XT & TW signal-to-noise ratio by clearing out the WRR/X stuff.

I found a lot of good info on the WR250X over here:

If the link doen't work- go to manufacturers, then Yamaha.

Yeah....I don't really consider the wr250x to be a "dual-purpose" in the standard sense of the word.

I think TT could easily use a sub-forum in the Yamaha section for Supermoto's that would incorporate the wr250x and hopefully future versions of SM's to come.

It's not obvious that all wr250x discussion is located in the dual-purpose sub-forum.
