I bought a set of Sidewinder sprockets and a smart chain. Putting them on today but have a couple questions. Hope someone can help me.

1) What's the proper torque setting for the six rear sprocket bolts?

2) I have BLUE loctite (actually it's "Devcon Blue Threaderlocker") on hand, but the instructions say to use RED. What's the difference between the two colors?

I can't speak to the torque settings, but as to the lock tight, all brands colors are standardised, blue = low break force, red = mid break force, andd green = high break force, and green is usualy applied after assembly

The manual says 25 ft. lbs. Red loc-tite is good for an application like that. A little harder to break free than the blue and it's one of those things you don't have to remove too often. I use the blue for just about everything else that I don't want rattling loose...which is just about everything.
