I just recently bought an 01 yz426. I am replacing the timing chain in it as it is badly needed. When I took it apart it has the auto-decomp cam in it. The number stamped in the cam is HCDC No:1-N. What kind of cam is it and how do I re-time?

I'm guessing its a Hot Cams cam, but it could be for the 450 which would be timed different from the 426 cam. I'd call HC and ask. They are actually pretty helpful folks.

I just got off the phone with hot cams. They say it is an first gen stage one cam. Thanks everybody:ride:
