Is there any horse power or snap to the bike if I remove that system?
I have an FMF Programmer and a Q4 with some air box mods. I do get a lot of popping on the deceleration. Bike seems stronger than stock, but it is no wheelie king like some talk about, they say the bike will pull up in 3rd gear. I also have a 12 tooth front sprocket and stock rear and chain.

Thanks for any response.

If you have a Q4 and programmer, you might as well take the AIS off. It's not doing much without the stock exhaust installed. Just added weight. Make yourself a block off plate and cap the fitting on the airbox. Simple job, and it will help take away that popping on decel too. It's not going to give you any boost in performance though, so don't expect instant wheelies with it off.

Just so you have more data points.....

No...there is absolutely no performance gain, or benefit to removing the AIS.

Have you modified your airbox at all? Flapper mod?

From my experiences removing the ais eliminated a lot of the low rpm bogging. Maybe its just me. Seems to run a little smoother.

I remove that AIS stuff pronto.
If you like a dirt bike that's got no unnecessary parts on it, get rid of it. :)
