yz426 engine help

i have a 2000 yz426f it took the head off cause it needs resurfaced and i was lookin at the cylinder and there is a little bit of scoring and only on the back wall just very litte and on the piston and the rings where it was wearing or touchin and i was wondering if anyone would hav an idea why

Dirt or wear metals got in there, and/or a lube failure such as a seizure.
