Has anybody put yzf450 exaust cam into a 1999 yzf400, or know if the cams are interchangable between those years?

This is the first time reseaching it and have been thinking about doing it but not sure if i want to do it yet. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think I've heard one person say, "I just did the 450 cam mod and wish I still had a decompression lever".

Its simply the best thing you can do to a YZ400/426. :worthy:

I fitted a '03 450 cam to my 400 around 12 months ago. Absolutely delighted with the outcome and no problems from the installation whatsoever.

This change is my number one recomended modification, my number two is fit a kickstand (if you are a weekend warrior that is).
