first brake oil and coolant change

Hey Agian Everyone, So I'm Going To Change My Brake Oil And Coolant Any One Better Than The Other? I Know Everyone Likes Something Different But As I Know Little Any Info Helps. I Have A 2007 Sm With 7500 Miles. Thanks

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy Bel Ray brake fluid. The stuff is pure garbage. You definetly want to buy the Motul 5.1. It costs more, but there is a good reason for it. I was cooking the Bel Ray stuff after one ride. Haven't had one problem with the Motul since I got it.

As for coolant, a lot of people go with Engine Ice. I myself am running distilled water with Water Wetter added to it. We live in So Cal so freezing isn't a problem.

Anyone that can mix in "stinky finger" in their name is cool by me!

Thanks, I was confused. I'll go to my dealership and order it. It probably will only take about 6-7 weeks to get it if it doesn't go on indefinite back order.:thumbsup: :moon: :p

All advice I can offer is to not use oil in the brake lines :thumbsup:
