new grips

i find after i ride for a while that my hands start to hurt and tense up.
im considering purchasing some thicker grips for my 08 sm
what size are the stock grips?
and any suggestions for thicker ones?

And be sure to buy a new throttle tube to go along with your new grips, as the time and effort to remove the stock grip from the stock tube isn't worth it.

It's boned in such a way it must be cut, shaved off. Every single square inch of it.

+1 on the Drivens....good grips, I run 'em on my track bike (R1). I found them to be thicker (and therefore more "cushiony") then say Renthals that I've run in the past. Will be upgrading to them on my Deezer once I get the TAG's off that are on there now (also good grips, just getting worn out).
