For me my front rim is 21 x 1.5 and rear is 18 x 2.15. I have 90/90-21 front and 120/80-18 Avon Gripsters on there now. I have all positives but I think they are a little too hard, but that's why they last. I would like to get some 80s/20offroad if they didn't look like street bike tires, and I do fire roads every once in awhile so 70/30 I guess. I want to go 130/80 in rear but as you know wheel sizes limit choice if you want your tires to "match". I have had some mixed results with certain pairings. What's your favorite setup and how are they used?

I've used the Kenda 761's and they rode great on the street and I did 2 dual sport rides with dirt roads and gravel fine. I felt very stable with them in the corners compared to the knobbies I was running previously. They also rode smoother on the highway

The only issue I had was downhill braking on sandy stuff the rear would lock up easy.

Honestly now that I have the 17" set of wheels I will never use them again and they have less than 500 miles on the set. I paid 85 for the two of them. I am in california also so if you are local or interested let me know.

All the supermoto guys love the Avon Distanza's in the supermoto profile/compound but I am not sure if you can get the SM compound on the 21/18 size

The stock TW301 and 302 off the WRR would probably work well for you.

The TW301/302s are decent but I think some of the other options are better

What do you not like about the TrailWings?

They seemed to wear fast for what grab I was getting. I wanted something softer than the Gripster I think with a tread pattern more for street than trailwings. I have to admit those Shinkos look cool. I'd love for the tire to look dirt but ride street. Not too much to ask, huh? Yea right.
