I'm buying tires tonight. I have to choose from Pirelli MT21, Dunlop 606 or Michelin AC10?

I will be 50/50 on/off but I will give up the the street traction for dirt traction.

Which are the best?

Thanks

My D606 rear lasted real good on pavement - 1,500 miles, but never really hooked-up too good IMO. Sure, way better than a Deathwing, but still not good enough for me. I like my Pirelli MT21 in the front. I'd buy one again, but the 80 width is too skinny IMO and I cant find a 90 in my search today.

Alot of guys here have said they like the Kenda Trackmaster II's, they look to be better off-road, and it's been said they don't last nearly as long on pavement.

True 50/50 riding is prolly gonna get alot of votes for MT21 front and D606 rear.

The tradeoff isn't street traction v/s dirt traction, it's tire life on the street v/s dirt traction. The AC10 is fabulous in the dirt, but practically evaporates on pavement. The D606 will have much better life on pavement, but isn't that great in the dirt. You can improve the performance by lowering tire pressure for the dirt, and airing back up for pavement. I'm too lazy, so I just buy lots of tires:banghead:
