Guys - I have been closely watching my chains and sprockets because I have over 8,000 mi on them. I noticed some wear on the sprockets, but not to the point I wanted to replace them. After a 300 mile ride this weekend, my chain is kinked and sprockets really, really noticeably wore. I ride like an old lady and I know I have gotten more than my fair share of use out of them, but do they usually go real bad that fast? i take a minimalist approach to chain lubrication. i wipe it down with a wd40 soaked rag and then wipe with gear oil. I am searching the tt store now for chain and 15/44 replacements, any brand suggestions?
one day they are good the next?
