Can someone tell me what is involved in this install? I'm not much of a mechanic but my bike just needs the horn to be street legal.

Not much to it
1. take off seat
2. take off tank
3. plug horn wire harness into connector (located under the tank)
4. run wire harness up under the headlight mask
5. mount horn on the right side radiator
6. install tank
7. install seat
8. mount horn button on handle bars
9. plug wire harness into button.

Check out Sicass for their horn kit:

If you just need it for inspection, get a cheap bicycle horn and clamp it the handlebars.

Hollywood, your telling me that my bike comes wired for a horn? I hope you are right, that would make it just a plug and play.:ride: I'm not sure if the bicycle horn would work in the very "safe" state of NJ.

I have a '06 400 exc and used the sicass racing horn kit. It plugs into an extra connector under the gas tank. I think I might still have the install directions. I'll look tonight; if I still have them I'll scan and post them for you.

That would be great. The enduro races in NJ are done until mid August so I'm going to use my KTM for commuting. I just need to install the horn and a mirror to get it inspected, plus I need a good set of dual purpose tires and I should be good to go.

No luck in finding the install directions.
