i'm leaking oil at the bottom of the stator cover, replaced with a oem paper gasket once already. cover or sidecase is not cracked, gasket surfaces were clean and dry before reinstallation.

looking for a trick to get this to seal right.....maybe rtv silicone between the surfaces?

A fresh gasket should not leak. Is the case or cover gouged? Youcan use a thin coat of something like YamaBond or ThreeBond, but you should not need it. You should try to figure out why it leaks more than just stopping the leak.
