Clutch problems

My clutch went loose and it would not work, and than we tightened it and it worked but I got a new clutch cable. It worked for the first few times i Pulled it in and than it stopped working again. I checked the oil and it seemed low so I'm wondering if that could be the problem

any help would be great.

Check the nut holding the clutch boss onto the transmission main shaft.
