My 04 YZ450 clutch is starting to act strange

I could do a 7 lap moto and maybe get 1/4 inch more of free play in the lever

The last couple rides I get 1/2 inch of free play in about 3 laps

Is this a sign my clutch needs replaced?

My CRFs were much worse with clutch fade

Any solutions?
