so about a month and a half ago i was trading a good KTM 125sx for a yz125. both 2000's so fair deal right? The yz motor blew up 10 minutes after getting it b/c the guy b4 me used atf. bottom end siezed and cylinder cracked and clutch was gone. i sold a 2004 suzuki lt-z 250 quadsport to a guy for 650.00 and a kicker sub worth 100 to 175. I needed the cash quick but the quad also needed a top end. the valves were fine and it ran. it just smoked! it was a bit rough but 650 for a 2004?????? ***?? I told the guy i had the title but i had to look for it. My best friend owned it b4 me and bought it new from the dealer and has receipts to prove it and the books and owner manuals. I told the guy i had the title and was sending it to him 4 weeks after sale then realized it was for a 94 ltz250. SHIT! so i just told the guy and he flipped shit and says "you took advantage of a guy who isnt to smart with quads and you are lied to me. It needs a new mid head." ***? he ment cylinder but i said it needs to be rebored like ever 4 stroke should after a rebuild. He said its costing him an arm and a leg and if he dosent get his title he will report me for
fraudulent transactions:busted: . I gave him a bill of sale too. ***???????????????? can he legally do that or is he just a whinny bitch? well...... can he do that?

He made me laugh when he said mechanics cost a shit ton whay didnt you tell me that? Keep in mind a rebore and top end cost no more then 200 bucks if you do it yourself. and with parts he should spend 900 tops for a 1300 quad.

You owe him either the title or his money back.

if theres a bill of sale that says sold as is and/or has no mention of a title on it....

he cant do anything about it

as far as calling him a whiney bitch, thats messed up on your part. you promised the guy something, you dont come through with it and your mad at him? i dont get people like you. i wouldnt of even took the bike without the title in hand, but that cause im not stupid i guess

You told the guy it was a 2004 when it's actually a 94 (BTW, how did you come up with the notion that your best friend bought it new from a dealership), you haven't sent him the title and now you're calling him whiney? Weird.

first off why would you trade a KTM for a Yamaha, and secondly how could make a 10 year mistake on the year of the quad, the difference is pretty obvious, no offense

linkage. i wanted linkage. and im a yamaha guy idk its just a yamaha thing.

2nd i forgot to mention that this kid has about 11 quads and 14 trucks so the amount of titles they had was amazing. I dont blame them its my fault for not getting the right one but then again i didnt realize till a couple days ago.:banghead:

but another part i left out was i told him and i said i would file for a lost title and pay for it and he accuesed me of stealing it. it was an 04. i told him to look up the vin and i will come up clean

Everything else is a side issue. You sold the machine with a title. You did not provide the title. The buyer has every right to be annoyed.
