I was on Rockymountain today and noticed that the lexx and fmf powercore silencers are the same part #.Has anyone tried a 250f 06-08 silencer on a 08 yz 450? if rockymountain part #s are correct they should fit.

They use a sleeve to size down the midpipe. The mounting points are the same, and the 06 YZ450F has the same diameter header as the 06-09 YZ250F so that is a direct swap, the 07-up YZ450F heapipes are larger at the midpipe joint, so these companies are selling one silencer with a large midpipe to fit the newer 450's, and then a spacer to sleeve down the size to that of a 250F header.

I took a '06 YZ250F FMF slip on and Installed it on my '08 YZ450F. All I had to do was take a exhaust expanding tool and open up the header a little bit and i fit no problem same part number at FMF though.
