I currently use Pro taper Windham mid bend handlebars. I'm 6.5 and i hear a lot of tall riders use the Rc high bend, is there so much difference between the two? I'm satisfied with my current handlebars but if the Rc bend feels so much more comfortable i think i'll do the transition. So does it worth to buy the Rc bend?

Why fix what's not broken?? :excuseme:
The RC bars are a bit difference from the windham mid....my understanding is it's either a 'hate or love' relationship...

For someone that is 6'-5" tall, the RC High is a much better choice. It has the same 54mm sweep as the Windham but it is 20mm taller.

What's the best bend for a tall guy 6'6? I had a pair of pastrana freestyle which I liked but I bent them and looking to replace

I have had both. I started with the Windham bend on my 04 CRF 450R based on recomendations, (Gotta start somewhere) and I just was not happy. I then went with the RC HI's and have been happy ever since. Night and day difference.
I am 6' 1" and they really helped me stand a bunch more and overall just more relaxed and comfortable on the bike. Everybodys different but just my 2cents...

The RC bend allows you to win just about all the races and the Windham bend only lets you win if there is a mud race or at Washougal.

I think i can gain 20mm by putting risers on, it will be the same i guess...

Well i just purchased the Renthal RC high and i installed them on the bike, there is a noticeable difference on height. I haven't riden the bike with the new handlebars yet to know how it feels but i have a question, how much forward can i push the bars? Right now the bars are set to +4.
+5 is the maximum forward position, where do you guys set them?

I run mine at 0 but I have a protaper top clamp that allows me to mount the bar clamps 17mm forward from stock. This works better than rolling the bars forward because it keeps the end of the bars level rather than pointing up.
