Hi,

I have a problem with my wr250f misfiring, especially in lower rpms. When I start to accelerate in the lower end of every gear, the engine misfires, basically skipping, but once I get it up into the higher rpms, it doesnt skip fires at all. I already changed the spark plug, and that is not the issue. What could this be? Carburetor? Cam timing? Gas issues?

Thanks alot

What year WR?
Did/have you made any changes to the bike other than a spark plug?

Is your choke in good condition? How about the hot start?

To lean of pilot jet or air fuel screw. maybe. It could be many different things but this is the most common on a bike that is new.

I know that this was posted almost 2 years ago. But i'm still running into this problem. I have put a fmf 4.1 exhaust on it, but sometimes I have a dbDawg silencer in. I think that it runs better without the dbDawg silencer tip in.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
