ct 70 overheating

hi guys i just installed an 88cc big bore kit on my 72 ct70. i got all the things that go with the kit and when i fired it up and rode it around it started getting very very hot. i dont understand what is going on. please help

When you say very hot, how do you know that it is running hot?

Possible causes would be incorrect oil level or more likely an air leak or lean jetting.

yeah their is they make universal oil coolers for the minis

http://www.hondamini...l.com/ct70.html here is a link for ct70 parts, half way down the page or so is the cooler. Also when putting in a 88 kit it is strongly recommended to put in a high flow oil pump. Did you do that?
