So I snapped my frame I have no Idea really how someone just hopped on the back for a second and then the my back fender was on my tire. Where the bolts go in for the subframe on the top mounts just snapped. Is there any way I could get this under waranty or should I i just start checking ebay for a frame

no warranty on a 4+ year old dirt bike.
I would start the search...or part out the bike. Your choice, there was just a frame for an 05 on Ebay within the last month or so...I think it ended but maybe it didn't sell?
Don't know if this will fit?

what about a machine shop welding the frame? You could then have it powdercoated again the color of your choice...or just get another frame. lol

I just got the bike and I love it so I dont really want to part it out I like the machine shop Idea. I just saw that 06 sxf frame Im prety sure it wont fit becasue of two totaly diferent motors but mabey im wrong and I herd the 03 frames would twist

SX F frame won't work. 06 SX frame will. I think you will be surprised what a good welder can do. just make sure to disconnect all electrical parts, tearing the bike down as much as possible.
Don't go older than 05. The 04 frames had a different mainframe and were flexier.

So if I have someone weld it Im going to have to disconnect all the electrical. Im in machine shop in highschool So I will probably just make the part and have someone weld it.

A welder should know what needs to be done. I am no welder, but seems like I know that the electrical needs to be disconnected and taken off. You are sending current thru the welding device, no?
Can you not just weld the piece that broke off, back on?

I dont know how the peice will fit it wasnt a clean break at all. If you look at number 14 and look where the bolt goes into the main frame thats what broke its to the left of 39 http://cyclehuttktm....icheFinder.aspx

Well I have the same bike and I haven't had that problem but anyways the 2006 frame you showed from eBay does look like it would fit, the mounts all look the same and I believe the only geometry changes between the two years was the steering head angle, I know it is for a four stroke but the mounts all look as if they are in the same position.

It can be welded-just go to a weld shop-they will be able to fix it-guaranteed.

Weld it or get a second hand 06 frame are pretty much your only options.

don't just take it to school and get somone to weld it, this will need to be ground, beveled and then properly weled back onto the frame for strength, a trained welder will know exactly what nees to be done to make a strong weld.
also you'll need to remove the CDI (ignition), you dont need to remove any other electronics unless you've installed a stator.

Im not going to have someone weld it in school I was just going to make the part that needs to be welded. I apreciate all the help from everyone hopefully I will have it done this weekend. And for the ignition to I have to unhook it completly or just take off the ground wire
