I don't think I've ever seen this asked. This will be my third year on my White Bros filter. The seams are as tight as day one and no apparent degradation of the foam.

Keep going? Or replace for peace of mind?

Bill, I usually replace the bugger when the glue in the seam starts to deteriorate (s?) or rip. Until then I'll run them forever.

Regarding the Tonopah T, Your money is no good here in California.... :) You owe me a beer sometime....

Ive been running my Uni for about 3 years now. I just put it in the trash yesterday because the foam ring was starting to desintagrate (sp?). Other than the No-Toil filter oil that destroyed 3 pervious Uni-Filter's, thats the only one I have had on my bike.

I say if its not beaking down, keep using it.
