I just purchased a 39MM FCR- MX Keihin Carburetor and it doesnt have a hot start button. Can I run my 99 WR400 without hotstart?

Sure, but the hot start makes hot starts, well, easier.

You may want/have to set the pilot/fuel screw on the lean side to help on the hot starts.

You cannot install one on the carb however, there are add-on kits for bikes that do not have them.

I hardly ever use my hot start lever. It starts fine without it.
